By default, a page file is 1. Step Change the Virtual Memory. To set the virtual memory select the desired drive and see the recommended size and currently allocated size. Then select " Custom size " option. You have to set the maximum size larger than the currently allocated size to increase the performance. I set custom virtual memory to set my own size using several hard drives and it works for a day or so and all a sudden i get a low virtual memory message and find that its reset its self back to default.
