I am not certain if I am wiring a set of underbody led glow lighting on my Hyundai Elantra, correctly. The lighting consists of eight 12" strips. I have mounted 2 strips along the driver's side of the vehicle, 2 strips along the passenger side, 2 strips at the front and 2 strips at the rear of the vehicle, Each strip required individual positive red wiring and negative black wiring.
I purchased a Terminal Strip to accommodate all the wiring for the lighting plus a positive and negative lead to run and secure to the battery. I found a perfect place to secure my terminal strip where it would not be interfered with. I attempted to do the same for the positive post of the battery. Unfortunately as soon as those wires made contact with the positive post there was an immediate arching from the battery and I stopped, disconnected the wires from the negative post and have not proceeded any further.
